OIL-IMMERSED SHUNT REACTORS

APPLICATION:

The shunt reactors of TDOK type are used to compensate currents with capacitance characteristics – e.g. in long cable lines used, among others in wind farms.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
The shunt reactors of TDOK type are connected to a three-phase network. The reactor may be equipped with a tap changer to adapt the operating parameters of the device to the compensating current value. It can also have additional winding for auxiliary needs of the station, switching station, etc.
